Celebrating our 2026 Scholarship Award Winner:

Katie Kail

At Medina Health and Rehabilitation, we are proud to invest in the future of healthcare. Today, we are thrilled to celebrate our 2026 scholarship recipient, Katie Kail!


Katie is a compassionate, driven leader who is heading to Jackson State Community College this fall to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse.

Throughout high school, Katie consistently proved that dedication and community go hand-in-hand. She balanced her academic studies with hands-on work experience at local favorites like Rhodes Family Diner, Wall Street Grill, Mulligan's, and Texas Roadhouse, while actively participating in marching band and winter guard—an activity she now loves to coach. Her natural leadership shined as a chapter officer for HOSA, which solidified her calling to nursing, and she has already made a wonderful impact on seniors by organizing a supply drive for local nursing home residents and volunteering with Helping Hands in Humboldt.
